I received my Bachelors Degree from Wilfred Laurier University in Psychology. I am certified as a childbirth educator through CAPPA Canada and am proud to have received one of the highest marks given by CAPPA. I am working on specialized and advanced training in breastfeeding education and support and beginning the certification process to become a postpartum doula and look forward to completing it in the near future.
As a mother of two beautiful girls who experienced two amazing water births, one of my greatest joys, besides my family of course, is empowering and educating expectant parents about birth and breastfeeding, and helping them get ready to welcome their new baby into the world. Helping new parents understand their options, empowering them to make the choices that are right for them, and watching them breathe the sigh of relief because someone understands and can help …it’s what I love and do best. Explaining the process of birth, supporting the decision to breastfeed, sharing inspiring and empowering birth and breastfeeding experiences, offering postpartum support, seriously, I live for this.
